Hummous and humidity

Why even try to fight the humidity outside? Instead, be transported to an exotic humid land through the sensation of... hummous!

Photo thanks to Desert Cafe

The Wild Pea will be one of our Tuesday Market vendors and offers a wide variety of hummous flavors. Craving something sweet? Try Chocolate Hazelnut, Cinnamon Raisin, or Key Lime! More in the mood for some savory concoction? Give Old Bay, Asian Fire, or Cheesy Artichoke a try! For a complete list visit www.thewildpea.com or their facebook page!

If you can't wait until June 7th or want to escape to that exotic land immediately, stop by The Desert Cafe/The Wild Pea at 1605 Sulgrave Ave, Baltimore, MD 21209 in Mt. Washington Village!

Don't escape too far into your exotic hummous land or you might miss the Tuesday Market!

CHOCOLATE!

In anticipation of the opening of the Market we thought that we would tempt you with some treats...

Photograph, thanks to Amy Langrehr

Izzy's Chocolates will be a vendor this 2011 Market season and will be providing us with delicious gluten-free, non preservative delicacies! Her creations include Dark Chocolate covered fruit clusters, in the flavors of mango, plum, apricot, pineapple, coconut and cranberry! Check out her facebook page and website to discover more exciting chocolate goodness - http://www.facebook.com/izzyschocolate or http://www.izzyschocolate.com/Izzys_Chocolate/Home.html

The Urbanite also wrote a lovely short piece as seen here: http://www.urbanitebaltimore.com/baltimore/chocolate-fix/Content?oid=1262844

If you can't wait for the market to open or need that chocolate for the Easter season (which is Sunday, for those of you who haven't been counting down the days for the mass chocolate eating holiday, among other things) you can order online as well!

HAPPY EASTER!
